N*E*R*D is coming to The Netherlands for an exclusive concert. On Friday the 3^rd of July, Pharrell Williams and his companions will be performing on the YOUR MUSIC Festival, that is organized due to YOUR WORLD in Rotterdam: the European Youth Capital 2009.

YOUR MUSIC Festival is an event for youngsters, which is being produced by the young people themselves. The festival is an outdoor event with three stages, with an on site capacity of 15,000 visitors. Besides the presence of a stage with international headliners and a Nopeisdope-area, one stage will be filled with young talented artists in all kinds of stage-arts: the YOUR Talent Stage.

Live Stage: Next to N*E*R*D, the Live Stage will also feature the sunny tunes of Michael Franti & Spearhead and Ozomatli. Michael Franti & Spearhead manage to fuse rock, hiphop, reggae and funk in excellent songs to dance to. Their “Obama Song” featured an international honour to Barack Obama. Ozomatli’s nine musicians bring you a mix of danceable latin, hiphop, rock and world music, containing their vision on the human rights policies and pacifism.

Nopeisdope Stage: The second stage will be hosted by one of Holland’s leading house-concepts. Nopeisdope is known for their great line-up’s, state-of-the-art shows and bringing the dopest house beats to the crowd. On this stage, house will be played in all its life forms. From deephouse to latinhouse and commercial to techhouse, everything will be pumping your eardrums.

The first DJ to perform on this stage will be Jaimie Fanatic. When this fidgetking enters the DJ-booth, it’s always party-kicking-time: his rockhard records and excellent timing leaves the crowd in a daze. Miss Sugaware is armed with sexyness, female powers and the best records to show the partypeople what real house sounds like. The third artist on stage is Real el Canario. This mixing phenomenon is as versatile as a chameleon and is capable of tearing every roof off. Also, Kenneth G and Bassjackers will perform under their combined KGB moniker: a brilliant tag team that flows an incredible amount of energy through the audience. The last two artists are Rotterdam-born and raised Jeremaine S. and Benny Rodrigues: playing a ‘home-game’ must make these guys stronger to bring the ultimate vibes on the dancefloor. The vocals on the Nopeisdope stage will be brought to you by MC V.I. and MC Bizzey.
